What is Occupational Therapy and what will it do to help?
Occupational Therapy is recommended for kids and teens who need help developing their motor skills, identify / meet their sensory processing needs, emotional regulation and social skills. Motor difficulties can affect your child’s ability to participate in school and their learning outcomes. Sensory issues such as being overstimulated by sounds, texture, taste and visual stimuli can result in your child struggling with attention, concentration and result in increased anxiety, big reactions to small problems and meltdowns.

Groups are not only fun but effective! Children learn from other children. For children struggling with social anxiety, poor social skills, or even specific skill deficits, the group setting offers the therapist a chance to help each child work through their obstacles with other children as they occur.
